a space for reading
In this 2 week project students were asked to design a highly contextualized space for reading on a chosen site within Edworthy Park, Calgary. All materials used in the design were to be analogous or directly attributed to materials/objects found on site. Additionally, only two architectural elements: wall, roof, floor, window or door, could be use in the design of the space. As an early project, the use of hand drawing was encouraged for the technical drawings and the diagramming of concept.
