exploring parallax through torque

This project focused on material and tectonic explorations, within the framework of designing through the construction of fragments at a 1:1 scale. Only 3 materials were to be used: 1/4 inch plywood, conventional 8 foot 2x4s,  and any type of woven fabric.  Together with team member Lauren Dynes, elasticity was discovered, revealed and harnessed in plywood, with 2x4s used to create a simple yet expressive structure.
